While many of us are staying indoors at the moment, there are still reasons that some of us need to travel.
Whether it’s work, shopping or for medical purposes, there are still a few reasons to leave the house during lockdown.
For those of us that need to, we’ve rounded up some of the roadworks that might affect your journey this weekend so that you can plan ahead.
Remember, please only travel if it is essential for you to do so.
St John’s Road, Oakley – Two-way traffic lights remain in place after the emergency closure of the railway footbridge. As a result, pedestrians are walking in the road, so delays are possible. Work is due to end on April 30.

Nr Scrapps Hill Farm, Worting Road, Basingstoke – There are two-way signals in place as trenches are dug by Hampshire County Council. Work is due to end of February 10.

Winton Square, Basingstoke – Multi-way signals are in place to locate a leak in the carriageway. Work is due to end of February 11
Winchester Road Roundabout – Lane closures are in place for carriageway widening on all approach arms and the circulatory carriageway so that signalisation of the roundabout and installation of a toucan crossing can take place. Work is due to end on February 26.
Nr 75 Winchester Road, Basingstoke – Multi-way signals are in place to repair a carriageway pothole between 9am and 4:30pm. Work is due to end on February 8.
M3 to London - Highways England is closing the M3 in both directions all weekend at junction 7 (Dummer) for emergency carriageway repairs, with the motorway being closed from 9pm on Friday 5 February until 6am Monday 8 February.
An up and over diversion will be in place, where traffic in both directions will be diverted up the exit slip roads at junction 7 to cross over the junction to re-join the M3.
Highways England contractors will be able to provide passage through the work area for emergency services in case a major incident occurs.
