The Gazette regularly prints public notices alerting the public to proposals whether by statutory authorities, private companies or individuals.
This week, Matthew Bedford has applied to Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council for the licence to use the premises at Twisted Crow Beer & Bottle Shop, 6 Mortimer Lane, Basingstoke, RG21 8SG, for the sale by retail of alcohol. The application is for off-sales during 10am to 9pm from Monday to Sunday.
Any person who wishes to make a representation in relation to this application must give notice in writing to: Head of Environmental Services, Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council, Civic Offices, London Road, Basingstoke, Hampshire, RG21 4AH or by email to: licensing@basingstoke.gov.uk.
It should be received by no later than March 1, 2021, stating the grounds for making said representation. The register and a record of the application can be inspected on the Council's website www.basingstoke.gov.uk or by appointment at the Council's offices during office hours.
It is an offence to knowingly or recklessly make a false statement in with an application for a premises licence and the maximum fine on being convicted of such an offence Is £5000.
