There is a heavy police presence in a residential street this evening.
At least five police cars, two vans and unmarked cars have descended on Oceana Crescent in Beggarwood.
They first arrived at the scene around 9.45pm, according to witnesses.
One neighbour said there were around 15 officers in the quiet cul-de-sac.
The Gazette spoke to an officer at the scene who wasn’t able to confirm any further information at this time and directed us to the press office.
Officers were seen moving equipment in roller cases.
Hampshire Constabulary has been contacted for comment.
One resident said: "[There is a] man stood in the window of one of the properties tormenting police, jumping about and screaming."
