ONE man has suffered minor injuries after two cars crash on a railway bridge this afternoon.
The man, who is in his 50s, was treated by paramedics at the scene and did not require hospital treatment.
The bridge over the railway line, on Kingsclere Road near Overton station, was closed whilst emergency services responded to the crash, which happened just after 1.20pm this afternoon.
The collision was between a Saab 9-3 Vector and a Volkswagen Golf, and debris and tyre marks were left at the scene when the bridge reopened this afternoon.
An eye witness said that all emergency services responded to the incident.
A spokesperson from Hampshire Constabulary said: "We were called at 1.21pm to a report of a two vehicle collision on Foxdown Overbridge on Kingsclere Road, Overton.
"It was reported that two vehicles, a Saab 9-3 Vector and a Volkwagen Golf collided in the centre of the bridge.
"One of the drivers, a man in his 50’s, was reported to have minor injuries.
"He was assessed by paramedics and discharged at the scene."
