A VIRTUAL reality experience which opened in Basingstoke last year is launching outdoor games this month.
Escape Hunt, in Festival Place, is bringing its outdoor games to the town for teams of up to four people aged eight plus.
The outside adventure offers the chance to explore the town while taking entertainment on the move.
Escape Hunt launched its newest venue in Festival Place in October last year, offering an exciting 60- minute escape room challenge for players in teams of between two and six people, with themes including Alice in Wonderland.
However, government Covid restrictions have meant is has been closed during recent months, and it is unable to open its indoor game experiences until May 17 at the earliest.
Instead, the company is inviting customers to try its outdoor game experience, with teams challenged to close a portal to a magical world or moonlight as an undercover spy to stop a mind-control virus.
Teams will be given an iPad and action pack and can expect to go on a 2km journey around the town centre lasting two hours.
Escape Hunt launched in 2013 and has expanded rapidly since, opening nearly 50 locations in 27 countries around the world.
It encourages groups to work together to follow a series of clever clues to complete their mission before their time is up.
