WITH more of us working from home during the pandemic, our cars have spent more time than ever parked up in Basingstoke.
As restrictions ease, it is likely you will begin to travel around to visit family and friends, have lunch out, or pop into town for a bit of shopping.
But do you know the safest streets to park on in Basingstoke?
A tool created by Co-op Insurance has revealed the number of vehicle crimes in any area - and what roads it is happening in the most.
A tool created by Co-op Insurance displays the number of vehicle crimes in a given area.
Users can enter a location or postcode anywhere in Wales or England to see the number of crimes that have taken place on each street.
Co-op Insurance’s Park Smart tool uses data from July 2020 to December 2020, published by the Home Office, to display the number of vehicle crimes.
The interactive map shows three circles, the red highlights an area with six or more vehicle crimes, the orange indicates the area has had between three to five crimes and yellow indicates between one to two crimes.
We used the tool around Basingstoke to see which streets had the most vehicle crimes during the six month period.
