When is the council going to improve the current litter bins that are totally inadequate for todays use.
For example, once again I have walked around Memorial Park to find overflowing bins with litter spilled around them.
Surely bins could be made a little larger with lids that open from the top instead of small apertures in the current bins that makes it almost impossible to place larger items in them.
They could be decalled to reflect the environment they are in such as birds squirrels and insects.
Would any businesses be willing to sponsor a bin or two? Its apparent that people are doing their best for the environment but are struggling to do so with what is available at the moment.
