Fifteen people across Hampshire have been slapped with huge fines over the last six months for breaking coronavirus rules.
Information published by magistrates’ courts in Hampshire, has revealed huge fines of up to £2,021 have been dished out in recent months for a range of crimes including indoor gatherings and failing to wear a facemask.
Across the UK almost 100,000 fines have been handed out for breaches of coronavirus regulations since they first came into force last year.
Provisional data published by the National Police Chiefs’ Council (NPCC) last month shows a total of 94,368 fixed penalty notices (FPNs) were issued by police forces between March 27 last year and March 14 2021.
Here are the names of 15 people who have been fined at magistrate’s courts across Hampshire for breaking lockdown rules.
Jordan Newton, 27, of Bishops Waltham Junior School, was fined £1760 for holding a gathering of more than two people in Station Road in Theale on November 16, 2020, during the second national lockdown.
Teressa Cash, 43 of Grosvenor Road, Aldershot, was fined £99 for failing to comply with instructions during coronavirus emergency period on April 25, 2020. She failed to return home when instructed by PCSO Godbold to do so without a reasonable excuse.
Tyler Raines, 21 of Glebe Road, Farnborough was fined £569 for being outside of his home address without reasonable excuse during the first lockdown on April 9, 2020.
Kristjan Kora, 20 of Granada Road, Southsea was fined £569 for leaving her house without a reasonable excuse on May 7th 2020. She was found in Woking despite her home address being in Portsmouth.
Natasha Anscomb, 25 of Middle Park Way, Havant, was fined £2,021 for participating in an indoor gathering of two or more people during the second lockdown on November 13, 2020.
Tracy Jacqueline Sibley, 53, of Chaffinch Green, Waterlooville, was fined £2,021 on November 20, after she participated in an indoor gathering of two or more people during the second lockdown.
Jonathan Lewis Wingate, 33 of Prunella Place, Waterlooville, was fined £2,021 for participating in an indoor gathering on November 12, 2020 on London Road Waterlooville.
Luke John Saunders, 32 of Raebarn House, Waterlooville was also found attending the gathering on London Road on November 12, he was fined £2,021.
Lilley Mae Kenyon, 18 of Stratfield Gardens, Havant was found participating in an outdoor gathering of more than two people on November 17, 2020. She was fined £2,021.
Mollie Mae Robinson, 19, of Cardiff Road, Portsmouth was fined £951 for not wearing a face covering At Finsbury Park Underground Station on December 11, 2020.
Hannah Phillips, 19 of Timsbury Crescent, Havant was fined £439 on November 17 for gathering with more than two people in a public outdoor place.
Charley Mae Barnes, 18 of Bransgore Avenue, Havant participated in an outdoor gathering of more than two people on November 17 and was fined £2,021.
Jamie Darby, 45, of Hadrian House, Chilworth was fined £1,375 for failing to, without reasonable excuse, cease providing food or drink for consumption on its premises at Ceno on Highfield Lane, Southampton on November 27, 2020.
Joseph-Alan Naisbitt, 20 of Longbourn Place, Basingstoke was fined £2,021 for participating in a gathering of six or more people in a tier one area on October 19, 2020.
Joshua James Izzard, 18 of Cranbury Road, Eastleigh, was fined £1,375 for participating in a gathering of more than six people on October 9, 2020.
