POLICE are appealing for information following a double stabbing in the South ham area of Basingstoke yesterday afternoon (Monday, April 26).
Officers were called to St Peters Road at 3.15pm to reports of a serious assault.
A 28-year-old man and 23-year-old woman were located at the scene, both of whom were taken to hospital with injuries.
A 17-year-old has been arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm with intent and remains in custody at this time.
Police carried out door-to-door enquiries in the neighbourhood yesterday afternoon, and are now appealing for anyone in the area at the time to come forward.
A Hampshire Constabulary spokesperson told the Gazette: "Officers investigating a serious assault in Basingstoke are appealing for witnesses.
"Were you in the area at the time? Perhaps you have CCTV or dash cam footage that could help our investigation?
"We are particularly keen to hear from anyone who has footage showing a boy in a grey tracksuit riding an e-scooter."
