The family of a Basingstoke man who sadly died following a collision on the A287 have today paid tribute to him.
Police were called to a head-on collision between a van and a car along the A287 near Ewshot at around 9.20pm on Friday, April 23.
Three people sustained life-threatening injuries and remained in hospital.
Sadly, the driver of one of the cars, Hayden Perrin of Maynards Wood, Chineham, passed away in hospital a few days later.
Paying tribute to the 22-year-old, Hayden's family said: “He was a larger than life character who lit up the room.
“He was such a beautiful generous soul and loved his family and friends.
"Our world will never be the same.”
Officers investigating the exact circumstances of the collision remain interested in speaking with anyone who can assist with enquiries.
