A CAR was recovered from a hedge on the A30 north of Old Basing this afternoon - temporarily closing one lane.
One police vehicle attended the scene at 2.25pm, where a Vauxhall Vectra had veered off the road, and through a hedge into a field.
There was significant damage to the vehicle, which was levered onto a truck by a recovery team.
Meanwhile the driver, a man in his 40s, reported minor injuries.
Two police officers coned off a short section of the left lane, but our reporter on the scene saw no resulting build-up of traffic, aside from a short delay while the police vehicle escorted the recovery vehicle safely along the road.
A Hampshire Constabulary told the Gazette that "the collision is being treated as an accident at this time".
