THREE people have been summoned to court over the past six months, charged with committing offences in Basingstoke McDonald’s.
All three of the defendants pleaded guilty to their crimes and hefty fines were dealt out as a punishment by the magistrates courts.
One man, Adrian Nicolae Muntean, of Moredon Road in Swindon, pleaded guilty to causing criminal damage.
On October 11 last year, the 22-year-old caused damaged to a window intentionally or recklessly, at Basingstoke Mcdonald’s to the value of £199.
Appearing at County Of Wiltshire Magistrates' Court on December 4 last year, the defendant was ordered to pay £199 in compensation.
Another defendant who committed offences at Basingstoke McDonald’s, Michael James Keens of Hazel Coppice, Hook, appeared at North Hampshire Magistrates Court on January 7 this year.
The 30-year-old pleaded to two counts of assault by beating and one charge of criminal damage at Basingstoke McDonalds on October 27, last year.
The defendant damaged the box of a moped belonging to Marcio Cantarutti, to an unknown value, and assaulted Bikalpa Gurung and Jamie Eccott.
He was ordered to pay £70 in compensation alongside a £20 charge to the Crown Prosecution Service.
A community order was imposed, requiring the defendant to carry out 100 hours on unpaid work and the Keens must take part in alcohol treatment for 12 months to help with alcohol dependency.
On March 4 this year, Serena Rampton of Cambrian Way, Basingstoke, appeared at North Hampshire Magistrates' Court.
The 26-year-old pleaded guilty to drink driving through McDonald’s Drive-Thru at Basingstoke Leisure Park on November 11 last year.
Rampton was over double the drink drive limit with 177 milligrammes of alcohol found in in 100 millilitres of blood- the legal limit is 80.
The defendant also pleaded guilty to driving without third party insurance and driving a motor vehicle otherwise than in accordance with a licence.
The court ordered Rampton to pay a total of £226 and disqualified her from holding or obtaining a driving licence for 17 month, the defendant must pass a driving test to obtain a licence.
