Basingstoke is set to gain a brand-new dog-friendly cafe overlooking War Memorial Park.
The Orchard Community Cafe will be opening in June at The Orchard building in White Heart Lane.
The cafe will be offering tea, coffee and hot chocolate from Basingstoke supplier, Qualitasse Coffee, a family-run business that focuses on ethical drinks.
Announcing the news online, a spokesperson for the cafe wrote: "The Orchard Community Cafe launches next month! We are situated within The Orchard building. We have outdoor seating available that looks out on to the award-winning War Memorial Park.
"We will be offering top quality tea, coffee and hot chocolate from local supplier Qualitasse Coffee who have trained staff in creating the perfect coffee.
"We grind our fresh coffee beans on the premises to the ideal coarseness for the best bean benefits! Follow us for updates on our journey to opening!
"We can't wait to welcome you!"
The cafe will also be welcoming dogs too.
Responding to a question from a member of the public beneath the post to its Facebook page, a spokesperson for the cafe wrote: "We are doggo lovers. We have outdoor seating, water bowls and cheeky treats when mum isn't looking. Dogs are welcome, providing their owners are well behaved."
The Orchard building is operated by Basingstoke Voluntary Action and houses a number of local charities.
