A MAN has been arrested after a burglary at a garden centre in Tadley yesterday (June 2).
Police were called just after 9pm after two men were seen breaking into the Greenacres Garden Centre on Aldermaston Road.
Several tubs of paint were stolen but have since been recovered.
Ministry of Defence Police officers were first on scene and arrested a 27-year-old man from Wokingham who remains in custody at this time.
Enquiries are ongoing to trace the second suspect, and officers investigating are urging anyone who has any information to phone 101 with reference 44210215218.
A Basingstoke police spokesperson added: "We would also like to thank the officers from Ministry of Defence for their great work in making the arrest, and assisting us in our response to this report."
