A DRONE was used to track down a car involved in a poaching incident.
Hampshire police and the National Police Air Service worked together to search for the vehicle, after one of the occupants shone a powerful light at a police car to make an escape.
Police were called to the incident in Ellisfield at 11.05pm last night following reports of hare coursing in a field between College Lane and Bell Lane.
Police managed to find the vehicle involved which was abandoned in a wooded area, and later recovered.
Hampshire Constabulary said: "Officers, alongside specialist officers with drones, were deployed to conduct a search of the area but no one was located."
