FOUR more schools across the Basingstoke and Deane have reported at least one positive case of coronavirus in the last 10 days.
Hampshire County Council publish a full list of schools in the area which have reported positive coronavirus cases over the last 10-day period.
The website lists that six schools have now reported at least one case of coronavirus.
Manor Field Infant school recorded at least one positive case of the virus today (June 10) alongside Priory primary which also recorded at least one positive case today.
Four Lanes Infant school and Junior school reported at least one case each yesterday (June 9).
As previously reported by the Gazette Bishop Challoner recorded at least one case of the virus on June 1, whilst the Burnham Copse recorded at least one case of the virus on Monday (June 7).
The six schools remain open and the Hampshire County Council website states that in some cases, one or more bubbles will be required to self-isolate whilst in other situations there is no requirement for a bubble to isolate.
The County Council website shows that 20 schools across Hampshire have reported at least one positive case in the latest 10 day period, excluding Portsmouth and Southampton.
The number of recorded coronavirus cases in Hampshire increased by 57 in the last 24 hours, official figures show.
Public Health England figures show that 64,775 people had been confirmed as testing positive for Covid-19 by 9am on Wednesday (June 9) in Hampshire, up from 64,718 the same time on Tuesday.
Five of those positive cases were recorded in the Basingstoke and Deane council area.
