POLICE are appealing for information on a man after he was involved in an assault in Basingstoke.
The man in the photo allegedly assaulted a 26-year-old man at the Chix Mex kebab shop on Church Street last Sunday (June 6).
He is described as being white, around 20 years old, with short hair.
Officers investigating the incident have conducted a number of enquiries and are now turning to the public for help identifying this man.
A spokesperson for Hampshire Constabulary said: “We are looking to speak with him connection with an assault in Basingstoke.
“The incident happened at around 12am on 6 June, at the Chix Mex kebab shop on Church Street.
“The victim, a 26-year-old man, was in the restaurant when he was assaulted by an unknown man causing injuries to his face.
“Were you in the area at the time? Do you recognise the man in this image?”
