A CAMPERVAN has been destroyed after bursting into flames on a Hampshire motorway.
A fire has ripped through a campervan leaving a charred wreck on the northbound M3.
Three fire engines were called to tackle the blaze on a stretch of road between Junctions 9 (Winchester) and 8 (Popham) at around 8.30am today.
Crews from Eastleigh and Basingstoke Fire Stations used foam put out the fire which left the van "100 per cent destroyed".
Police were also notified of the incident with a stop message coming in at 9.43am.
According to Hampshire Fire and Rescue Service, no one was injured.
