HAMPSHIRE hot spots in draw in plenty of celebs – and we are not surprised the county has lots to offer.
An impressive array of stars call the county their home whilst others own Hampshire holiday homes.
In addition, the county has always been a favourite with production companies - with several films and TV shows filmed here recently including Downton Abbey, The Crown and new Amazon Prime series Citadel.
Here are some locations in Hampshire where you can spot your favourite celebrities.
Richard Madden
Bodygaurd actor Richard Madden was spotted in Basing View, Basingstoke, in March, believed to be there filming a new action spy series for Amazon Prime.
It is thought they were shooting new Amazon Prime series Citadel starring Madden and Priyanka Chopra. The pair were also seen filming action-packed mid-air stunts in nearby Farnham.
Tom Hardy
The Hollywood heart throb Tom Hardy has been spotted many times in and around Hampshire.
Most recently the star was snapped by a fan who saw him inside Tesco in Hook in December 2020, and he appeared happy to pose for a socially distanced selfie.
In 2017, the English actor and producer was seen tucking into a plate of sausage and mash at the Crown and Cushion pub in Yateley. The film star was also spotted enjoying an espresso in Thatcham Costa in 2016.
Ricky Gervais
The After Life star and comedian was spotted casually strolling the streets of St Mary's. Saints worker Gavin Keddy spotted The Office star Ricky Gervais outside of his office.
Johnny Depp
For years there has been talk that Hollywood A-lister Johnny Depp had bought a home in the New Forest town of Lymington.
There have been several appearances by the Pirates of the Caribbean star in a local bars over the years including in The Haven Bar and Restaurant, Lymington.
Chris Evans
The former BBC Radio 2 breakfast show host Chris Evans has been spotted at the Lyndhurst Ferrari garage and at the five-star Chewton Glen Hotel in New Milton.
Fred Sirieix
First dates’ Fred Sirieix and celebrity grocer Chris Bavin were spotted in several familiar locations in Hampshire when BBC's Remarkable Places to Eat aired in April.
Bavin showed Sirieix how the New Forest is famed for its seasonal produce, starting at The Pig in Brockenhurst where they sampled oyster mushrooms on toast and salt-baked celeriac all sourced within 25 miles of the restaurant.
