PICTURES show police and forensic officers at work after a murder investigation was launched yesterday when two people were found dead at a property in Basingstoke.
woman in her 20s and a man in his 60s died at Buckland Avenue in the early hours of Sunday (June 20).
Today, the residential street remains cordoned off as enquiries continue.
A 52-year-old man has arrested on suspicion of murder and remains in custody at this time.
Police said they believed "all parties" were known to one another.
A spokesperson for Hampshire police said: “If you live in the area and have any information or concerns about this incident, do not hesitate to speak with one of our officers if you see them, or give us a call on 101 quoting Operation Carnation.”
