HISTORY is in the making as England has secured its place in the final of a major tournament for the first time in 55 years.
Gareth Southgate's side will meet Italy beneath the arch of Wembley on Sunday night for an 8pm kick off.
With England now the bookies favourites to win, it's only right that Basingstoke residents will want to find somewhere to watch the match at.

This popular boozer is a stalwart for football fans in Basingstoke. With a friendly atmosphere and a good choice of beers, The Golden Lion is sure to be packed for on Saturday night, so get there early. Their fish and chips is also highly recommended by locals.
The Rising Sun – Chapell Hill
Situated right in the centre of town, the Rising Sun is a spacious pub with a beer garden and wide selection of beers. It serves a vast beer and wine selection and is family friendly.
The Chineham Arms – Ajax Close
The Chineham Arms is a bit further north of Basingstoke offering real ale and a big beer garden. The pub also takes online bookings in case you are worrying you won’t get in. It serves traditional pub grub and ale.
The Royal Oak – Worting Road
A proper traditional pub on Writing Road, The Royal Oak serves a selection of classic beers and ales and some tasty homemade burgers. It has a small beer garden and parking at the back. The pub is sure to come alive at kick off on Saturday.
The White Hart Inn – Worting Road
Also located on Worting Road, this popular sports bar serves excellent food and is a friendly hot spot for watching the football. It also has a pool tables and serves a Thai menu throughout the day.
The Soldiers Return – Upper Sherbourne Road
The Soldiers Return offers a welcoming atmosphere to all, with three rooms and two bars providing The pub overlooks the Sherborne Playing Field. The pub is a spacious and family friendly sports bar housing a pool table, darts board and gaming machines. Priding itself as a fully independent pub, it serves ales you are unlikely to find anywhere else in Basingstoke should you choose to go here on Saturday.
The Beacon – Kings Road
A truly welcoming local pub, The Beacon is a great all-rounder and local favourite. Serving a hearty British menu, top-quality beers and showing every Euros match this summer.
