But the latest court registers show a handful of people flouted the measures by having gatherings, parties and even travelling away for holiday
Here, we list the most recent cases heard in court relating to residents in Hampshire who breached rules.
Ava Randle, 18, of Quayside Road in Southampton, was fined a total of £2,021. On February 6, 2021, Randle took part in a gathering in the Tier 4 area of Southampton at the Guildhall Square.
Luke Abraham Smith, 30, of Manor Park Driver, Yateley, was fined a total of £1,261. On February 6, 2021, he took part in a gathering at a private dwelling at Queens Court, Alexandra Road in Farnborough.
Perri Baverstock, 23, of Buckingham Green in Portsmouth, participated in a gathering on February 7, 2021, at Eastern Road, Baffins in Portsmouth. She was fined a total of £2,021.
Hayley Jane Batchelor, 34, of Highwood Lawn, Havant, was fined a total of £2,021 for leaving a Tier 4 area on February 8 without a reasonable excuse.
Billy Joseph Borg, 52, of Curdridge Lane in Waltham Chase, was fined £66 for leaving a Tier 4 area on December 27, 2020 without a reasonable excuse.
Margaret Prunty, 42, of Hawthorn Road in Hampshire, was fined a total of £2,021 for participating in a gathering on January 23, 2021 at Empress Court in Hawthorn Road.
Charles Mugabe, 21, of Seagarth Lane, Southampton, was fined £66 for leaving a Tier 4 area without a reasonable excuse on January 20, 2021.
Terence Richard Miller, 38, of City Road, Winchester, was fined £480 for leaving a Tier 4 area without a reasonable excuse on January 24, 2021.
Robert James Mckay, 37, of St Peter’s Road, Basingstoke, was fined a total of £2,021 for participating in a gathering at Alencon Link on January 19, 2021.
Damian Michael George Matthews, 28, of Milton Road, Waterlooville, was fined a total of £2,021 for being “outside of the place” where they were living without a reasonable excuse on January 21, 2021.
Machila Marshall, 33, Dunsmore Close, Southsea, was fined a total of £2,021 for participating in a gathering at St Thomas, Southsea, on January 23, 2021.
Hannah Victoria Joy Lording, 25, of Thyme Close, Gosport, was fined a total of £2,021 for participating in a gathering at Meon Road in Fareham on January 25, 2021.
George Lodge, of Hurstbourne Tarrant, was fined a total of £2,021 for participating in a gathering at Station Approach in Andover on February 2, 2021.
Mark Andrew Leaf, 52, of High Street, Portsmouth, was fined a total of £285 for being at Victoria Park in Portsmouth on January 27, 2021.
Jonathan Richard Hussey, 39, of Dickens House, Milton, was fined £66 for participating in a gathering at Millbank Street, Southampton, on January 5, 2021.
Laila Green, 28, of Cavendish Close, Taplow, was fined a total of £2,021 for travelling to Petersfield to stay at a luxury holiday letting on December 5, 2020 when the county of Hampshire was in Tier 2. Sunwood House in Ditcham, near Petersfield, is rated as five star on Last Minute Cottages and boasts being a five-bedroom property with a jacuzzi and an open fire.
Carla Furmedge-Mauger, 34, of Sedbergh Road, Southampton, was fined a total of £2,021 for participating in a gathering at her address on January 23, 2021.
