A MAN will stand trial after he denied assaulting a woman.
Mitchell Ricketts, of Belvedere Park, Wokingham, is accused of assaulting the woman at an address in Basingstoke on Friday night.
Police were called to South View just before 11.30pm on the evening of July 30.
Appearing at Basingstoke Magistrates' Court on Monday, the 27-year-old denied two charges of assault.
He will stand trial on October 1 at Aldershot Magistrates' Court.
Ricketts has been released on conditional bail.
