Dancers from Basingstoke excelled as Team England won the Dance World Cup finals that was held at Telford this month.
Members of Basingstoke Academy of Dancing won one first place, six second places, and three third places as they helped the national team win the championship.
An event that saw 6,000 international dancers, had 39 members from Basingstoke Academy of Dancing.
Among them, 17 dances qualified for the event and 16 dances competed at the finals.
The first place came in Senior Large Group Commercial 2020.
Tanya Schipelbaum, principal of the academy, said: “ Covid brought us a horror we never imagined but it also gave us opportunities to expand and develop in ways we had no idea we were capable of. There really has been blood, sweat and every variety of tears you can think of.”
