Joey-James Christopher Glaysher has been voted the winner of Basingstoke Gazette and Andover Advertiser Child of the Year contest for 19-36 months age category.
The two-year-old emerged as the winner after contesting along with 15 others from his age category.
He lives with him mum in Basingstoke.
Joey was nominated for the contest by his mum Chloe, who said Joey is an “outgoing, energetic and cheeky little boy with a crazy attitude”.
Chloe said she was very happy to hear about Joey winning the cotest.
"It means so much to both of us," she said.
“Joey is smart and funny and has lots of friends and family he loves to see and play with. He comes from a small, but close-knit family. Everyone in the family adores him even when he’s being a little monkey.”
Joey’s favourite things are cars, buses and planes. He loves watching the Disney Cars films on repeat, which “drives his mummy mad”.
“He likes going out on adventures and being brave and daring. He also has a thing for the ladies, and he uses his cuteness, blonde hair and blue eyes to make them coo over him.
"He lives with his mummy and we always have fun together, no matter what we do."
The Child of the Year pictures were published on August 5, 2021, edition of the Gazette.
There were four age categories - 0-9 months, 10-18 months, 19-36 months and 3-6 days.
The winners were selected based on the number of votes we received with the coupon published along with the contest pictures.
