A country inn in Baughurst near Tadley was in for a surprise last week as a Hollywood actor popped in for lunch, much to the delight to the landlord and staff.
Actor Paul Rudd, who is currently shooting Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania in London, visited the Wellington Arms in Baughurst for lunch and also spent time taking pictures with the landlord and staff.
Sharing the photos on the Facebook page of the Wellington Arms, the landord asked: "He popped in for lunch - anyone know who he is?"
Facebook Followers of the pub were surprised to see their favourite actor at their local pub, but they were disappointed that they couldn't be around when he visited.
One person wondered if Antman's shooting is going on near Baughurst.
Another user was in awe that the 52-year-old doesn't look aged at all, despite being in the movie industry for 30 years.
He wrote: "If I’m honest, I thought this was a photo of you and Paul Rudd taken in the 1980s and then recently recreated."
Recently Rudd's photo with Schitt's Creek actor Dan Levy had gone viral after the duo visited an Indian resturant in London for lunch.
