A NEW purpose-built care home is opening its doors in Basingstoke next week.
Dashwood Manor in Beggarwood will start receiving residents from Monday, September 13.
With just one week to go, the Gazette took a behind-the-scenes tour of the stunning building.
Dil Perera, home manager at Dashwood Manor, said: “The team is eagerly anticipating the arrival of the first residents in September, and we can’t wait to show the community the fantastic new home we have created here in Basingstoke.
“We are extremely pleased with the design of the home, and every single detail has been taken into account to produce a high-quality, luxurious setting that will allow residents to live active and fulfilling lives. Dashwood Manor has been beautifully decorated, furnished to create the ideal environment for older loved ones to live comfortably. We can’t wait to show everything that Dashwood Manor has to offer.”
Designed to enable residents to live active and fulfilled lives, while also promoting independence, the new care home will incorporate space for hobby and leisure activities.
“Luxury facilities include a café, hair and beauty salon, cinema and bar, several communal lounges, games areas and stunning gardens.”
