AN INTERNATIONAL bestselling author will deliver a virtual talk to patients at a cancer charity next week.
Karen Hamilton, whose new thriller The Ex-Husband was released last month, will deliver a second talk to patients with a cancer diagnosis and their partners at The Pink Place on September 13.
The free session is being run by the Basingstoke-based cancer charity that offers free wellbeing support and services to adults affected by cancer and their partners living in Basingstoke, Tadley and the surrounding area.
Karen Hamilton said: “I loved meeting everyone and speaking at The Pink Place last March, so I am honoured to be asked to speak again to the group.
"It’s such an amazing charity and I’m looking forward to talking about my recent book launch and maybe inspiring some of them to start their own writing journey."
The Ex-Husband is Karen Hamilton’s third book and is about a con-artist who finds the roles are reversed when her former victim seeks revenge.
Fundraising and events manager at The Pink Place, Christine Griffiths, said: “We are honoured to welcome Karen Hamilton back as a guest speaker, particularly as she was such a popular and engaging speaker earlier this year and we are extremely grateful to her for kindly giving up her time once again. Our guests have enjoyed immensely reading Karen Hamilton’s first two books The Perfect Girlfriend and The Last Wife and have been eagerly awaiting her third novel, The Ex-Husband.”
