POLICE are appealing for witnesses following an assault in Oakridge which left the victims with “severe” injuries.
At 11.41pm on Monday (September 20), a man and a woman in their twenties were walking along Norn Hill when they were attacked by two men unknown to them.
The man was kicked repeatedly and the woman had a ceramic tile smashed over her head before the two men left the scene in the direction of Queen Mary Avenue.
Both victims were injured in the incident. The man suffered severe bruising to his ribs and grazing, and the woman sustained a cut to the head and grazes on her face and hand.
The two men are described as being between the ages of 18 and 21, white and of slim build.
One was wearing a grey hoodie and the other was wearing dark clothing at the time.
A Hampshire Constabulary spokesperson said: “Did you see the incident, or anyone running away from this area at this time?
“Do you have CCTV, dashcam or ring doorbell footage of what happened?
