A BASINGSTOKE school is partially closed today because of "severe staff shortages".
Coppice Spring School is closed to years 10 and 11 today (Monday, November 29).
The Hampshire County Council website has the reason listed as "severe staff shortages.
The message reads: "Due to severe staff shortages we are closing to students in year 10 & 11 today. We apologise for the inconvenience this causes."
Coppice Spring School, on Pack Lane, is a school for pupils with special educational needs (SEN) of secondary school age, specifically those "who have difficulty managing social interactions, positive relationships and recognizing and regulating their emotions", according to the school's website.
It is run by Catch 22.
