FOLLOWING the news that booster vaccination doses can now be accessed by everyone over the age of 18, residents may be wondering where they can go for a third jab.

As well as booking an appointment via the NHS website, all over-18s have the option of attending a walk-in hub to receive a third dose.

However, the clinics offering the service are limited, with many choosing to prioritse clinically vulnerable groups.

Clinic availability is changing rapidly, however when the Gazette searched Basingstoke on the list of available walk-in units on Wednesday morning (December 15), the nearest available walk-in with availability for all eligible groups was located on Pinn Way, in Ruislip, London.

When you type your town or postcode into the search bar, the website offers the closest 10 walk-in centres, however many do not have availability for walk-ins at this time.

Of the 10 closest to Basingstoke, the Winston Churchill Theatre in Ruislip is the first option for all eligible groups to get a booster, with Pearl Chemist in Surbiton next, followed by Grand Union Health Centre in Northolt.
