A BASINGSTOKE man who allegedly crashed his car after taking cocaine, seriously injuring another person, has pleaded not guilty.
James Ian Christopher is accused of causing serious injury by dangerous driving after he allegedly crashed his Vauxhall Astra in Oakridge Road on February 28 this year after taking cocaine.
Luke Briggs was seriously injured in the crash.
It is alleged that 35-year-old Mr Christopher of Pear Tree Way, Oakridge, was over the legal drug limit at the time of the crash.
He appeared at Winchester Crown Court on November 24 when he pleaded not guilty.
Mr Christopher is due to stand trial by jury at Winchester Crown Court on April 25, 2022.
