The Basingstoke Bison are on the road this weekend with trips to Swindon and Leeds, writes Graham Merry.
The Herd will face the Swindon Wildcats tomorrow night (Friday, 7.45pm) and then on Sunday (5.15pm) they take on the Leeds Knights.
Bison player/coach Ashley Tait said: “We won in both rinks last time and I hope we can do it again this weekend.”
In other news, the Herd have loaned netminder Dan Weller-Evans to the Bees for the rest of the season, but do have the option to re-call him at any time if needed.
The goalie has made just one appearance for the Herd since the arrival of Jordan Lawday.
Fans wanting to watch ice hockey in Basingstoke this weekend can do so as on Saturday night (4.30pm), the under-14 Bison face a top of the table clash with Cardiff as the two sides with a perfect record go head-to-head.
On Sunday evening (4.30pm), the under-12s take on Oxford.
