FIRE crews from Hampshire and Berkshire were at the scene of a property fire in Kingsclere.
Hampshire Fire and Rescue Service have said that crews from Basingstoke, Tadley, and Fleet were all attendance to help deal with a property fire that was on King John Road.
A spokesperson from Hampshire Fire and Rescue Service, said: "Firefighters from Kingsclere, Basingstoke, Tadley, Fleet, Whitchurch and Sutton Scotney were assisted by RBFRS crews from Newbury.
"Smoke was issuing from the property which was well alight upon arrival.
"Crews used breathing apparatus sets, hose reels, jets and ventilation fans to contain the blaze to the two-storey property.
"The fire is now out with three fire engines set to remain on the scene as the other appliances return to station."
They have asked members of the public to avoid the area so emergency services can deal with the incident safely.
They also tweeted: "We currently have crews from @Kingsclere_09, @Basingstoke_01, @Tadley12, @fleet04 and @RBFRSofficial on the scene of a property fire on King John Road in #Kingsclere.
"Please avoid the area to allow access for emergency services vehicles."

Hampshire Police have also been contacted for more details.
