The mother of missing person Charles Knight has renewed her appeal for information a year after his disappearance.

Charles, 31, went missing from his home address in Burghclere on Wednesday 17 February 2021.

Officers carried out an extensive search and investigation. They searched areas of woodland and followed up multiple lines of enquiry.

Sadly, Charles remains missing and his mother Belinda Hooper is urging people with information to come forward.

She said: “I would like to thank friends and family for their ongoing help, support and interest.

“It has been a year since Charlie went missing, and I want to appeal to anyone who may have any new information on his whereabouts to come forward.

“The last year has been difficult, and it gets harder every day not knowing where he is or if he is okay.”

The investigation is now being led by Hampshire Constabulary’s Missing and Exploited Team, which leads on long-term missing person investigations.

A spokesperson for Hampshire Constabulary said: “The case remains open, and it will be subject to regular review and any new lines of enquiry will be followed up.

“A specialist officer is in regular contact with Charles’ family to inform them of any updates.

“We would like to continue to encourage the local community to report any new information or anything untoward to us.
