A WELL-LOVED care home ambassador celebrated reaching the milestone age of 100 with a surprise birthday party.
Barbara Liddle, the home ambassador for Marnel Lodge Care Home celebrated her birthday on Wednesday, February 16 surrounded by her friends and family at the care home in Sherborne St John.
The care home team alongside her close relatives and friends organised the surprise party for the centenarian, which also celebrated her contribution to residents' welfare.
Sebastian Wiencelewski, the care homes manager loved seeing Barbara enjoy the day.
He said: “Seeing Barbara’s happiness speaks a thousand words. happy many returns our dearest Barbara.
"She was so happy and she felt like a Queen. She is an amazing person, who also represents voice of all our lovely residents."
Those who attended the party enjoyed a whole range of delicious cakes, food, and lots of bubbles.
