A BANK based in Basing View has joined hands with Destination Basingstoke to support their work in promoting the town through showcase events and projects.
Castle Trust Bank has joined the not-for-profit company as a new core partner to get more involved with the community and sponsor events that include the Basingstoke Half Marathon, the Place to the Proud of Awards, the Hampshire OctoberFest, The Inspire Business Awards and the Hampshire Hogs art sculpture trail held last year.
Caroline Baker, director of compliance at Castle Trust Bank said: “Destination Basingstoke offers us the chance to get more involved in the community we are proud to be part of, they have such an exciting range of projects that we are keen to get staff enthused and engaged with.
“As a growing successful business with aspirations for a long term future in Basingstoke, we are looking forward to becoming really embedded in the local business scene.
Caroline will join the board of Destination Basingstoke.
In addition, Castle Trust Bank are also sponsoring the ‘Above and Beyond’ category of the Place to be Proud of community awards, which have recently opened for nominations.
Caroline said: “This award has Castle Trust Bank’s values at its heart, and we are excited to be part of these community awards. So many people turn a paid job into a vocation and go well beyond expectation.
“We are looking forward to seeing nominations of people that use their role to make a worthwhile contribution to life in the area.”
Felicity Edwards, managing director of Destination Basingstoke, said: “We are proud that Castle Trust Bank, a growing business that has found success in Basingstoke, recognises the value of our work and want to be part of it. We are excited to have an enthusiastic new partner to work with, after a difficult period through the pandemic this is a really encouraging vote of confidence that Basingstoke businesses are ready to invest in projects and events that make a real contribution to life in Basingstoke.”
