THIS shocking footage shows the tactics used by a criminal gang to blow up cash machines across three counties.
Five Hampshire men were today jailed for more than 54 years for their parts in a series of “well organised and orchestrated” criminal activities, including burglaries and car thefts, as well as the ATM incidents, to the cost of approximately £1.2million in total loss and damage.
Between April 2019 and January 2020, they used crowbars, oxyacetylene gas and petrol to blow up ATMs and steal tens of thousands of pounds in cash.

They targeted 14 machines across Hampshire, Berkshire and Surrey but were only successful in three of the attacks, managing to steal more than £61,000.
Police said that the men gave no thought for the residents of the homes they were burgling or the danger they were putting people in when exploding ATMs.
David Patrick Hughes, 31, from Rotherwick was jailed for 17 years; Adam Jones, 31, from Fareham was sentenced to 13 and half years; Colin Golding, 26, from Farnborough received nine years; Cameron Chivers, 24, from Southampton, eight years; and Jesse Matthews, 21, from Bordon, six years and eight months.
In sentencing the men, The Recorder of Winchester, Her Honour Judge Angela Morris said: “None of you gave a moments thought to the dangers you placed those innocent and unsuspecting residents, or the trauma they would undoubtedly experience.”
