ADVENTUROUS competitors caked in mud took on an epic challenge in Chawton on Saturday (February 26).
Participants waded through the uneven ground of woodland, baked in glorious sunshine.
It was part of the 5km and 10km BRUTAL course event, which saw entrants run through woodland and deep muddy puddles left by the recent storms.
Some even brought their four legged friends, taking their dogs around the course as well.
Among them was hand cycling and rowing paralympian Rachel Morris.
