Hartley Wintney went down to two late goals on their visit to high flying Metropolitan Police.
In a very open match it was the Row who went ahead on 40 minutes. Jordan Edwards and Adam Allen broke clear and Edwards squared for Adam Allen to shoot home.
The Met came back strongly in the second period and drew level on 52 minutes. A close offside call was to the benefit of Jasper Mather who lifted the ball over Row keeper Luke Williams for the equaliser. Hartley responded well and restored their lead on 69 minutes. Ryan Case made space on the right and his cross was headed home by Lucias Vine.
On 88 minutes the hosts equalised and again got the benefit of a close offside decision leaving Liam Ferdinand through to score.
It was rough justice for the Row when in added time the Met clinched all the points when Jack Mazzone pounced on an error in the Hartley defence to score the winner.
Hartley Wintney have an important match on Saturday at home to Kings Langley who are also around the relegation zone. The kick off is 3pm at the Hartley Wintney Memorial ground.
