RETIREES in Basingstoke are being invited to a special flower workshop at a retirement living development this month.
McCarthy Stone’s Island View Retirement Living development is invited all retirees from the region to attend the workshop on Wednesday, March 16.
According to the developers, the workshop has been designed with health and wellbeing in mind.

During the afternoon, guests will have the opportunity to take part in a free workshop hosted by a local florist.
Verity McKay, Divisional Marketing Manager for McCarthy Stone Southern, comments: “Floristry can be really therapeutic and calming, so this workshop is the perfect opportunity for guests wanting to focus on their health and wellbeing and build their own bouquets, all while providing an opportunity to be creative and learn new skills.”

From 11am until 2pm visitors at the event will also be able to enjoy refreshments, meet the friendly McCarthy Stone team, and experience the social community at Island View. All those who attend the event will also have the opportunity to visit the show apartments and meet the team at the retirement development on Shortwood Copse Lane.
