A HOUSING association is hosting a public event later this month to share its final plans for the proposed regeneration of Winklebury ahead of submitting a planning application this spring.
Vivid is holding the public webinar on Wednesday, March 16 at 5.30pm when the community is invited to see how ideas and comments from previous consultation events have shaped Vivid’s designs.

A presentation will be given by Vivid, KSA Architechts, and planning consultants Tetra Tech, after which there will be a chance to ask questions.
The plan includes 206 new homes, of which 40 per cent will be affordable; a large new community park at the former Fort Hill School site; a play facility; healthcare centre; and new local shops and small business space.
Vivid has been working closely with residents in Winklebury along with Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council, Hampshire County Council and the NHS to create the new regeneration plan.
Mike Shepherd, group development and new business director at Vivid, said: “We were very grateful to receive such a fantastic response from the community while we were creating our proposals for Winklebury – the ideas and comments from residents, businesses and other stakeholders have been really valuable.
“We hope that people will join us for the online presentation to see how the designs have evolved to create an exciting, modern new hub for the whole neighbourhood, with much-needed affordable homes and new public spaces.”
For those who cannot attend the live webinar, a recording will be available online after the event, along with the presentation information.
