A DRIVER has been banned from the road for a month after driving at more than 100mph near Winchester.
Ibrahim Elghaly, 42, from Southampton, was in a 67-reg Mercedes A200D when clocked by police speeding at 110mph between junctions 8 and 9, north of Winchester, on June 25 last year, a court was told. The legal limit on the motorway is 70mph.

Elghaly, of Lundy Close, Lords Hill, pleaded guilty at Basingstoke Magistrates Court.
He was fined £900, disqualified for 28 days, and ordered to pay £90 costs and a £90 victim surcharge.
