Hartley Wintney booked a place in the Final of the Aldershot Senior Cup to be held in May.
However they needed extra time and penalties to win against a pacey and skilful Badshot Lea side that play two levels lower than the Row.
In the final at the Aldershot Recreation ground, the Row will play either Fleet Town or the British Army side.
The Baggies dominated the first half for long periods and the Hartley goal had more than a few scares. Despite being on the ascendancy Badshot led by just one goal.
This came when a long ball found the Hartley defence struggling to clear. Kane Firzgerald following up the attack struck a low shot from the edge of the penalty area which found the corner of the net. (1-0)
Hartley improved greatly after break and after a period of sustained pressure pulled level on 59 minutes. Jake Rumble made good progress down the left and his cross found Harry Cooksley on the right.
A measured cross from Cooksley found Kyan Nicholas who headed home from close range (1-1)
Play became very stretched as both sides strove for the winner. Both goals had narrow escapes before the match went to extra time. During this period both sides again had chances to clinch the winner before the match ended.
In the penalty shootout, Row goalie Luke Williams made two excellent saves while the Row converted all their spot kicks to win 4-2 on penalties. The successful penalty kicks for Hartley were taken by Jordan Edwards, Harry Taylor, Jake Rumble and Adam Allen.
Mal Thomas and Tane Caubo were the successful Baggies penalty takers.
