A BASINGSTOKE man who was caught speeding in Salisbury has been fined hundreds of pounds.
Alan Hayter, of Camwood Close, was driving a Land Rover on the A36 at Alderbury when he was caught travelling above the speed limit of 70mph. Court records did not indicate at what speed he was driving.

The 45-year-old previously pleaded not guilty to the offence but during a hearing at Swindon Magistrates’ Court he changed his plea to guilty.
Magistrates fined Hayter £650. He must also pay £200 court costs and a £65 victim surcharge.
