A MAN has been charged and appeared in court following a burglary at a golf club near Basingstoke in the early hours of yesterday morning (March 30).
Samuel Haylett, 32, from Barnes Road, Frimley, Surrey, has been charged following the incident that took place at Sherfield Oaks Golf Club in Wildmoor Lane at around 3.30am.
He was charged with one count of a burglary other than dwelling and appeared at Basingstoke Magistrates’ Court today (March 31).
Haylett has been released on conditional bail and is next due to appear at Winchester Crown Court on May 4.
