THE theme for Basingstoke Gazette Camera Club was Colours, and the members enthusiastically posted hundreds of photos over the past 30 days to fill the Facebook group with magnificent colours.
This included different shades of birds, bugs, flowers, even buildings and plastic pipes.
Posting a picture of a bright-coloured Mallard, Sheila Anne Williams wrote: “Mallards are the most numerous wildfowl in the UK and you see them on most waterways.
“I watched this pair climb down from a tree early the other morning. Obviously found a nice safe spot right inside. The glossy green head colour of the male is beautiful and you can see the reflection of the trees in it.”
The theme for April will be announced in the group soon.
It is free and easy to join the camera club. Simply search Basingstoke Gazette Camera Club on Facebook and click to join.
