A BASINGSTOKE man has denied multiple counts of possessing prohibited images of children, a court heard.
Dean Richard John Clayton, of Daneshill Court, Lychpit, pleaded not guilty to five counts against him at Winchester Crown Court.
He is accused of possessing four extreme pornographic images between July 24, 2016, and August 28, 2019.
He is also alleged to have made over 500 prohibited images of children, categories A, B and C, between December 2013 and November 2019.
Lastly, he is accused of possessing 66 prohibited images of children between August 28, 2019, and November 3, 2019.
Clayton, 35, pleaded not guilty to all charges.
The court heard that an expert report would need to be produced in order to determine how the images were on Clayton's devices.
Mr Recorder Charles Langley set the trial date of August 9 at Winchester Crown Court. The trial is expected to last two days.
