TRAFFIC is heavier than normal near Basingstoke this afternoon, in typical Bank Holiday delays.
In Whitchurch long queues have been reported. According to the AA, queueing traffic and traffic which is heavier than normal has been reported on A34 Southbound before Bullington Cross.
It comes as temporary traffic lights are in place due to contruction work in Winchester Street.
However, it is unclear whether this is the only hazard causing the delays.
Meanwhile, heavy traffic on the M3 at Dummer is visible on the AA live traffic map. No accidents have been reported in the area, although police attended a four-vehicle collision on the same motorway near Winchester earlier this afternoon.
