A MAN has been left with a serious injury to his neck after police attended a 'serious assault' in Oakridge on Easter Sunday.
Police were called out at 9.59pm on Sunday, April 17, following reports of a serious assault at The Oak pub on Cherry Tree Walk.
A Hampshire Constabulary spokesperson said: "An altercation ensued between two people outside of the pub, resulting in a 32-year-old man suffering a serious injury to his neck. He was taken to Southampton General Hospital, where he currently remains.
"Police enquiries are continuing in the area as they seek to establish the exact circumstances of the incident.
"No arrests have been made at this time."
